Q: What is this?

A.) This is a fanwork challenge for fans of Apex Legends to participate in over the month of July! Each day contains a prompt to help spark your creativity, and create a piece of art inspired by the Apex Legends universe.

All entries must be PG-13. You can still take part if you make something above that rating, but it won’t be retweet to this account in the interest of safety. You can DM the account if you’re unsure if your entry is PG-13 or not. We reserve the right not to retweet inappropriate content.

Q.) Does my artform have to be drawing?

A.) Nope! Your work can take any shape, from writing, cosplay, modelling, anything that is your original work.

Please do not repost or tweet anything that is not your own creation. If a creator would like to participate, that is their choice.

Q.) Do I have to do every single day?

A.) Not at all! The challenge is intended to inspire you, but you are not obligated to make something every single day unless you want to. Feel free to just pick the prompts you like the most!

Q.) How do I participate?

A.) For every entry, please contain the prompt (eg, Day 1 - Pride) as well as the tag #31DaysOfApex. We will be retweeting prompts that match the same day as that day in July. If you post out of order, we will bookmark to retweet on the intended day.

Q.) But I missed a day!

A.) If you “miss” a day or finish a piece of work later, we will keep your work bookmarked and “late” entries will be retweeted over the month of August. Please continue to share your work with your followers, and our account will catch up with “missed” days later!

Q.) When does a new ‘prompt’ day begin?

A.) New days begin at 9 AM EST sharp.

Q.) How do I share writing?

A.) We suggest ArchiveOfOurOwn, Wattpad, or Google Docs. Please tag appropriately and include a quick summary. Be sure to include a rating, and content warnings if needed.

Q.) Are original characters allowed?

A.) Absolutely! As long as your OC is specifically set in the Apex Legends universe, we will retweet them. In your tweet, tell us about them and how they fit into the Apex universe!

Q.) Can I submit gameplay videos?

A.) Unless it is a fanvideo, then no. 31 Days of Apex is a month dedicated to creative works.

Q.) I arrived to the challenge late! Can I still participate?

A.) You can! As mentioned above, we will be bookmarking everything that’s tagged, and anything that contains a prompt past the “deadline” will be retweet in August. The organisers will continue to check the tag throughout that month, but no later than that.

Q.) Can I submit old work?

A.) Whilst the challenge is intended to inspire you to create new work, we understand that real life gets in the way, and you may not have the time to make something in July/August. You can then QRT or repost your old work, and use the hashtag but please only for appropriate prompts.

Q.) Can I use the same piece for multiple prompts?

A.) No. We will only RT a single piece once.

Q.) Can I submit Titanfall work?

A.) No, sorry! We love Cooper and co. as much as you do, but this is 31 Days of Apex Legends. Characters such as Blisk, Ash and Viper can be submitted, but only if they are portrayed in such a way that relates to the Apex Legends lore.

Q.) I have more questions!

A.) Please don’t hesitate to @ the account, and we will get back to you ASAP!

And most importantly, have fun!
